These terms govern the use of the Puntos Padel app (the "App"), operated by REBALL ("we"). By using the App you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. What the App is
The App provides:
- A padel scoreboard for phone and watch, with local match history and optional shot detection.
- Find players: a board to post and find matches that need players, with join requests and chat to coordinate.
2. Account
"Find players" uses an anonymous account created automatically. You do not need to register with an email or phone number. You are responsible for the content you publish under your nickname. If you delete your data or uninstall the App, the anonymous account cannot be recovered.
3. Acceptable use
When using the App you agree to:
- Not post content that is offensive, discriminatory, illegal, or that harasses other people. The App automatically filters offensive language in chats, but the filter does not replace your responsibility.
- Not impersonate anyone or post other people's personal data.
- Not use the App for unauthorized commercial purposes or spam (postings have daily limits).
- Not attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the operation of the service.
We may remove content, restrict features or block accounts that break these rules, without prior notice.
4. Meeting other users
The App only connects players: we do not organize matches, we do not verify users' identities, and we are not part of any meetup. Use common sense when meeting people you met through the App: meetups are at your own risk. Report and block tools are available inside the App.
5. Your content
The content you post (searches, messages, nickname) remains yours. You grant us a limited license to store and display it within the App, solely to operate the service. You can remove it by deleting your data from the Profile screen.
6. Third-party content and advertising
The App may display banners with our own or sponsors' content, and uses third-party services (Google Firebase, OpenStreetMap) described in the Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content of linked external sites.
7. No warranties
The App is provided "as is". The scoreboard, statistics and shot detection are informational and may contain errors or inaccuracies (shot detection is a sensor-based estimate). We do not guarantee continuous availability of the service or that searches will result in matches.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages arising from the use of the App, including (without limitation) anything that happens at meetups between users, loss of local data, or service unavailability.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App and delete your data at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the service (in whole or in part) or block accounts that break these terms.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. For significant changes we will give notice in the App. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Argentine Republic. Any dispute will be submitted to the ordinary courts of the City of Buenos Aires, unless mandatory law in your place of residence provides otherwise.
